FungiXpert® Candida Mannan Detection Kit (CLIA) is a chemiluminescence immunoassay used for the quantitative detection of the Candida mannan in human serum and bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) fluid. It is fully automated with FACIS to complete sample pretreatment and experimental testing, fully liberating the hands of laboratory physician and greatly improve detection accuracy.

Invasive candidiasis (IC) is one of the most frequent human health associated invasive fungal infection. IC is associated with high incidence and mortality. There are about 750,000 people suffer from IC and over 50,000 dead worldwide annually. Diagnosis of IC is challenging. Several biomarkers are available for improving diagnosis. Mannan, the cell wall component, is the most direct biomarker for Candida species.
